New document management system launches with big client

By March 3, 2015 One Comment

Real Estate Digital has signed HER Realtors as the first user of its new “agent-centric” paperless document management system, rDocs.

RED says rDocs allows brokers to pick and choose the features they need, including electronic forms, documents and eSignature, within a single platform.

“Companion products” offered by RED include rDesk CMA, DocCentral and TransactionPoint.

“With rDocs, we provide a tool for brokers to roll out companywide that is very agent-focused for ease of use, and gives consumers and authorized service providers access to protected digital files, commonly used forms and an eSignature option,” said John Hensley, RED’s chief technology and product officer, in a statement.

About 850 HER Realtors agents working out of 55 offices in Cincinnati, Dayton and central Ohio are already using the rDocs platform, the companies said.

A Solutionstar subsidiary, RED provides integrated technology and data solutions to more than 150,000 real estate professionals through relationships with more than 550 MLS organizations, 350 real estate brokerage companies, and nearly 60 settlement services companies. Its offerings include rDesk Websites, reDataVault, MLS Portal, Neighborhood and School Reports, rDesk CRM and rDesk IDX.

Solutionstar acquired RED last year with the goal of building HomeSearch.com, its online auction platform for bank-owned and short-sale properties, into “a transactional marketplace for all things related to real estate.”
