Large Philadelphia-based brokerage Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach Realtors has partnered with the rental listing site Rental Beast to grow its rental business and initiate relationships with future homebuyers.

Under the new partnership set to commence in March, BHHS Fox & Roach Realtors’ more than 4,000 agents in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware will gain exclusive access to leads that come in through Rental Beast’s search platform and to the site’s listings through a back-end system.

The brokerage hopes to use the partnership to capitalize on the recent growth in the Philadelphia-area rental market, boost revenue for its small but growing rental business and cultivate relationships with future homebuyers, Steve Storti, chief marketing officer at BHHS Fox & Roach Realtors, told Inman. The brokerage has paid for the exclusive partnership, he said.

Rental Beast, which launched in Boston in 2009 and recently expanded to Philadelphia and Chicago, has a similar partnership with Coldwell Banker Real Estate in Boston.

Designed to connect landlords and property managers with tenants through a network of agents and other real estate pros, Rental Beast claims to have more than 1 million listings.

“In working with our esteemed partners at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach and other brokerages around the country, we are helping landlords fill vacancies and tenants find homes,” said Rental Beast CEO Ishay Grinberg in a statement.
