Real estate agents who want their clients’ listings to appear in the best possible light on search portals can now search remodeling and design marketplace Houzz for professional photographers offering services in the U.S. and Canada.
Houzz says it already has 500 professional photographers in its network who are providing special photography packages to first-time clients.
Only registered users who have signed up for free business profiles on the site can access the photographer network. Although architects, interior designers and contractors are expected to use the network to document and showcase the work, Houzz’s business directory is also open to real estate agents and brokers — and more than 14,000 maintain profiles on the site.
Houzz says more than 5 million photos of home interiors and exteriors on the site help attract more than 25 million monthly unique users — 90 percent of them homeowners — and that more than 600,000 home professionals use its platform to build their brands, collaborate on projects and connect with homeowners.
