Franchisor Re/Max is once again the highest-ranked company in the real estate category on Entrepreneur magazine’s 2015 Franchise 500 list, which ranks franchising opportunities by evaluating the newest trends and industries that are positioned for the most growth.
Re/Max was named the top real estate-related franchisor, coming in at No. 75 on the list, followed by HomeVestors of America Inc. (127th), Weichert Real Estate Affiliates Inc. (236th), HomeSmart International (376th) and Keller Williams Realty (387th).
Entrepreneur magazine’s rankings also take into account financial stability and strength, number of years in business, size, financing options and length of time offering franchising opportunities. Re/Max was ranked the top real estate firm in three categories — fastest-growing, global and low-cost.
Entrepreneur tracks 22 real estate services franchises, including Realogy brands Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and ERA Franchise Systems LLC. But a number of other well-known companies — including Century 21, Coldwell Banker and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices — were not evaluated.
Entrepreneur has named Re/Max as the top franchise in the real estate category for three years in a row, and it’s the 12th time in 16 years Re/Max has held the honor.
