Ability to customize and integrate helps vendor keep big client

By January 29, 2015 One Comment

Keller Williams Realty has renewed an agreement with its custom intranet provider, BackAgent, which touted its ability to build new features suggested by the franchisor and improve integration with Keller Williams’ existing systems for the extension of a relationship dating to 2011.

The BackAgent platform integrates directly with “myKW,” Keller Williams’ corporate intranet, allowing staff and agents at Keller Williams local market centers to communicate, share calendars and manage office resources.

BackAgent said it custom-built many interfaces specifically for Keller Williams, or modified existing ones to integrate with the company’s systems.

Adding Twitter, YouTube and Vimeo custom widgets allowed Keller Williams to showcase company events, BackAgent President and CEO Eric Reed said in a statement.

BackAgent’s banner advertising platform also allows Keller Williams to highlight events and distribute other important messages to its associates, he said. A banner posted in January generated more than 15 million views.

Houston, Texas-based BackAgent, which counts 250 real estate brands as clients, noted that it’s also introduced a native mobile app on the Apple App Store, and released an integration with zipForm Plus by zipLogix to enable document creation that it announced in July.

In addition to office intranet systems, BackAgent offers paperless transaction management, e-marketing and website services.

This week Keller Williams announced it’s re-upped with its transaction management platform provider, dotloop, into 2021.
